Self-evaluation tool identifies psychosocial and risk factors during confinement

The Vice Rectorate for Inclusion, Sustainability and Athletics, in collaboration with the Center for Applied Psychology and Health Psychology Department at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), has created the COVID-19: Personal Resources and Strengths against COVID-19 tool.

This tool consists of a survey that allows university community members, in addition to family members and close relatives, to complete a self-evaluation that is as thorough as possible about the personal resources that each person possesses and which help them cope with the current situation.

This survey, compiled by UMH personnel, generates a personal self-report based on the responses provided. Furthermore, this initiative also evaluates the needs of the university community and it proposes new solutions related to psychological coping with COVID-19. Accordingly, the final portion of the survey gives the option to add suggestions in order to help modify and/or design new actions or optimise those already implemented.

This action represents one part of the #UMHHealthyAtHome plan, which is promoted by the Vice Rectorate for Inclusion, Sustainability and Athletics at the UMH.
